Samantha Mattocks is the other half of S² International Productions. Born and raised in a Crabbet Arabian loving family in the UK, Samantha is best known for her multiple award-winning publication, The Arabian Magazine and its offshoot, the beautiful coffee-table worthy The Arabian Breeders’ Magazine.
Samantha has travelled the world thanks to the Arabian horse and her connection with it, and she loves nothing more than talking to breeders and sharing their stories, their insights, into the breed. Her features have been printed in magazines across the world, including Arabian Horse Times Abroad, Tutto Arabi, Desert Heritage, Absolute Horse, Arabian Essence, Arabian Essence TYPE, Arabian Horse Magazine, Arabian Studs and Stallions, Prestige Singapore, UK Crabbet Journal, and the Arab Horse Society News.
In addition, Samantha contributed to the beautiful, limited edition Padrons Psyche book, printed in the United States in 2011. She is currently working on a book celebrating 45 Years of Jadem Arabians, and has been the lead writer for two further books being published by clients this year.
Samantha also writes fiction and poetry, with progress published in 2009, a beautiful collection of poetry and photography. Her first novel, Sandstorm, book one in The Arabian Storm Series was published in 2020, with the sequel Firestorm underway. This year, Samantha is also publishing The Magical Mister Mishkins, the first in her children’s book series.
Through Ivy Arabians, founded by her mother, Tina, in the 1970s and evolved with father, Trevor, Samantha has helped breed British National Champions, European Ridden Champions, and horses that make your soul happy.
“I am very excited to be working on S² International Productions with Scott, a lifelong friend and someone who I tremendously admire,” says Samantha. “We have had many projects in the planning for several years – now is the time to see these projects come to fruition.”
